In an exclusive interview with The Independent, Kemi Badenoch discusses her campaign to become the next leader of the Conservatives.
In a wide-ranging interview, Badenoch defends her position on a number of topics including two-tier policing, that police officers should be backed over the killing of Chris Kaba and how she thinks Britain will have to leave the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) like her opposition Robert Jenrick.
Speaking with political editor, David Maddox, the Conservative MP for North West Essex also responded to comments by Sir Christopher Chope, as well as many comparing her to Margaret Thatcher.

She is absolutely right. Love her views, as an immigrant myself I totally agree we need freedom, equality under the law and integration into society.
Badenoch is not clean because she's self confessed criminal and only the Conservatives could cover up her multitude of sins!
Please conservatives don’t vote for this black women who’s now shown her real colours. This is England and that is what we want as a leader not a bloody foreigner in mind.

I do not know all her policies, like she said, at this stage – it is about establishing character and values for the Conservative Party, and it is probably madness for me to say (I have never voted conservative) but I would probably vote for her

This interviewer is a total CLOWN. He just let her ramble on in the typical politicians way and craftily change the subject and not answer the question at all… MPs are trained to do this. It goes like this ‘Do you think there’s 2 tier policing’?’… ‘oh, well that’s something that’s been talked about for years. Stop and search was considered by some as two teir policing. I think we need a system that is equal across the board. The trouble is people don’t understand the process any more.’ Blah blah blah. He just allowed her to describe sittuation rather than answer the question. By the time she stops talking it ‘feels’ like she’s answered a question but all she does is talk around it. This is standard tactics for MPs. You see it time and time again. But this clown is quite happy to let that slide.
Mrs Badenoch just don’t have to be strong as Margaret Thatcher; She’s needs to be 10 times stronger going into this position.
