Nationals Senator Matt Canavan says the Labor Party are in “crisis mode” following the results of the 2024 Queensland election.
“They just fail to represent,” Mr Canavan told Sky News host James Morrow.
“The Labor Party, over many years now, have decided to deride and want to shut down the coal industry. They’ve done nothing to help farmers suffer under huge amounts of green tape.
“People have revolted against the Labor Party up here.”

Yeah. Where I live coal trains trundle through town regularly taking coal to Brisbane heading for China. A few Ks away there is a wind farm, and about 100kms away is another wind farm, it's ginormous. Why is our electricity costing us so much?
