Has any of these super dooper main frame computer systems calculated the effects of the glacier ice melt on the Greenland, Icelandic and Norwegian land mass as the ice pressure holding the land mass down over thousands of years is suddenly released, which could trigger huge earthquakes, Mega tsunamis engulfing Europe, Northeast America and Africa, also, will these mega tsunamis which contain billions of tons of fresh melt water make an instant impact withing a few days when it reaches the equator or below? 🏊‍♀

10. If it really wasn’t about Climate Change then all governments, which are mainly based on Socialism, would have given every citizen a EV. This would reduce the prices of EV’s drastically and the carmakers know they have job guarantees and income. According to the Paris Agreements you then are sure you make a big leap forward. But it’s not about Climate Change. It’s about making money. They call it Free Market. But that will only delay steps taken to reach Climate Change goals. Thus the problem is money and for course ego.

12. My biggest concerns are tipping points, when something changes quickly and irreversibly.
    I think the most dangerous tipping point is the melting of permafrost.
    As the permafrost thaws, it releases methane into the atmosphere.
    This is already happening. There are videos on YouTube of it happening.
    Methane is a greenhouse gas 29 times more potent than CO2.
    So release of huge amounts of methane will accelerate warming, which will accelerate methane release, which will accelerate warming,…

14. I wish the people who could really make a difference, the huge corporations that could enact massive global change would step up and make that change. Theres so much emphasis on changing your lifestyle but that wont do anything unless the options people have improve. The world is set up in a way where the choice that leaves humanity worse off is far easier for most people, and its the fault of corporations and government. They love making it our problem, and our responsibility to save the world when they are the ones causing the bulk of the damage. Its not that the public doesnt want to save ourselves, its that the option to do so actually isnt really in our hands. We need to hold the bastards accountable any opportunity we get.

    c) Most algae species prefer a water temperature between 15°C and 25°C. This temperature range is optimal for most species to develop and reproduce.

    So the water temperature at the North Pole will be between 15°C and 25°C for some time in the near future. This cannot be prevented, no matter how much CO2 is saved. In addition, the CO2 content always increases with global warming. See Milankovich cycles.

18. This nonsense will go down in history as one of the greatest deceptions ever perpetrated on humanity ! The audacity to call this science, the data sets are from observation over the last 50 years . What we observe is a matter of ones perception .When you start with a baseline from 1850 the end of the coldest period on earth for the last 500 years . Then what would you expect to happen when a ice age ends ? Do you think it may start to warm up? Then specifically try to establish evidence to anthropogenic activities causing the warming through observation and modeling this would laughable to any real scientist !.Then when you observe a miniscule amount of change in the climate from 1850 to 1970 you change the baseline and repeat your hypothesis . starting a new observational study of 50 years of modeling data and try to substantiate it's relevance saying it's rapid change in earths climate . Climate is changing and always has sometimes quickly and other times more gradual . All of you whom parrot this nonsense and hysteria should be ashamed of yourselves, your fearfulness leads to a cowardly reflection in the mirror .

19. I think the big issue is those regions which can use existing technologies do little to encourage it, and those that can't use them have no options. Up here in Alberta, Canada heat pumps do not work year round as we get too cold for them in winter (-40C is a yearly occurrence here) – Secondly, during those cold snaps, renewable power generation stops leaving us with power shortages so no electric heating can be relied upon… Insurance companies frown upon wood heat so we are stuck with natural gas heating.
    EV's cost too much and don't have enough range unless your in the $80,000+ range for a vehicle so they are not fully able to be adopted by much of the population.

    Then there is the whole issue that everyone demanding more climate action always seems to tie it to requiring the loss of freedoms with total government control. Most people wont go for that and will fight it to the end – so realistically it needs to be shown that people can still have most of their freedoms and finances while completing climate action.

    As a case in point: Canada would already be exceeding 30% CO2 reduction had it halted immigration back in 2008 as the per capita CO2 emissions are down something like 34% according to government records but however the government seems determined to continue importing hundreds of thousands of people per year into our cold climate requiring additional emissions to account for all the population growth.

20. Going to have to adapt. Unless we make some huge Scientific Discoveries, overall emissions are not going to go down. Too many people with too much need for energy. Energy consumption is increasing all over the world. According to the EIA Global energy consumption and CO2 emissions are going to increase through 2050.
