In this first episode, we introduce the vision and team behind Canada’s first character heritage reconstruction to Canadian Home Builders’ Association Net-Zero standards. The series will highlight innovative techniques and responsible materials for each major building element, demystifying sustainable low-carbon construction for homeowners, builders and design professionals.
1908 to Net-Zero combines heritage preservation with sustainable design and gentle densification to create two net-zero energy dwellings and a new net-zero laneway house in the heart of Vancouver’s historic Mount Pleasant.
