  1. I am sure that no part of private sector would every dream of taking economic shortcuts in regard to nuclear fission safety and there will be no issues storing the Nuclear Waste from all this increased production.

I mean it is not like that are serious issues with Sellafield in the UK………..

  2. you need to see the debate in Aus current opp party "nuclear will fix everything" with no actual costings, I am neutral on Nuclear but cost and how long it takes to build are the big points, esp. here in Aus with solar growing at a huge rate

  3. The fact that progress in nuclear power plant construction was effectively halted due to less than a handful of accidents (that didn't even kill a large number of people compared to things like deaths from automobile accidents) is a great indicator of just how effectively dumb people can slow down progress.

  4. Some interesting facts here! About fusion: What VCs seem to completely ignore is the plasma focus device of LPP Fusion. They all go for the more mainstream concepts, that cost much more to build.

  5. 2:54 I love ya, but you make yourself sound dumb sometimes. A rackmount server is a rackmount server, which both dedicated datacenters and offices use. The consolidation into facilities specifically designed for hosting the servers is more logical for a power consumption savings, also, in the cloud, almost all hardware is shared and consolidated across multiple customers – offices don't generally share their on-site servers. You also no longer have to run racks of network gear to run all the cubicle computers, VoIP deskphones, printers, etc in offices. I bet just the reduction alone due to savings on printing wasn't negligible!

  6. LATEST RESEARCH DOOMS AI AGi [general] which is what the tech Bros are absolutely desperate for – its 9 ORDERS OF MAGNITUDE further away in processing power than thought

And almost certainly will have to be Quantum computers. Consciousness is not at the neuron level in the brain but at the microtubule level, there are ~1 Billion microtubules in every neuron. You would literally need a Dyson sphere to power it

  7. Thanks for the update. I advise traders, especially newbies, to research the market before jumping in. I must say that trading has more benefits than just holding. Thanks to Martins Lennox for always keeping me updated. I am very glad I started with his program.

  8. So our Lizard overlords have green light newclear now? – they must be laughing in the backroom these petty oomans will jump on anything we say, next will say need more camels to solve sinking islands

  9. I like to imagine that if nuclear truly booms (no pun intended..) that the new plants are properly built and administered.
Mismanaging and cutting corners with nuclear, to maximize profit, can have devastating consequences and "power going out" is the least of your concern.

  10. DO NOT CONFUSE THE COST OF ELECTRIC IN THE UK and the building of power stations i the UK with any fundamental issue – this is ALL as a result of the horrifically corrupt Conservative government over the last 14 years and in the 80's.

The electricity companies are allowed to rip consumers off and the Govt didnt want to build infrastructure so tied it up in red tape.

  11. With copytrading, you could be sipping coffee on a balcony overlooking a bustling city skyline or lounging on a pristine beach, all while your investments work for you. Picture the freedom to pursue your passions, travel the world, and create lasting memories with your loved ones, all because you took the initiative to harness the power of copytrading and build the life you've always dreamed of.

  12. we need nuclear, but i dont think they will follow regulations and standards, especially if they want to regulate themselves or have their own inspectors. nuclear with no oversight is a ticking time bomb

  13. Letting average humans of average to questionable IQ make energy policy is borderline stupid. It has cost us decades in delays and hundreds of billions in red tape cost overruns.

It's about time we've come to realize this!

  14. With 85 wars in the world Nuclear Power Plants are too risk for our world. Please study the air plumes of every nuclear plant. Vegetation dead zones crossing state lines. Water contamination???
Corporation risk management analysis continues to be weak.

  15. I heard two LLM fanantics on a Morgan Stanley podcast a few weeks back discussing the importance of siting server farms INSIDE nuclear power stations, presumably for demand and efficiency reasons.

It was clear none of these people had ever watched The Forbin Project
