Just stopping oil is NOT only about energy production for machinery, heating, electricity etc. What they never mention is that nearly all the products we all use are made from byproducts of oil production. Nearly EVERYTHING!! From detergents to clothing to furniture to packaging etc etc. Oil is not only about fuelling transport vehicles. It is not all about this mono focus on carbon emissions from heating and vehicles. It affects every minutiae of our lives. These stupid people are so naive it beggars belief. I would love to hear what viable alternatives they have planned for us from 2030. What production capabilities are in place for industry to replace all the components that are currently made from oil derivatives. What are they going to use to insulate the electrical wiring in their electric cars? What type of tyres will be fitted on these cars?
