  1. It would start at 1p then they will rise it over and over constantly Starmer probably asked Tony to bring up and take this one for him after how detested he already is.

  2. Tony Blair is a war criminal and should be in court. He and his WEF cronies need to realise that they are not elected and not wanted.

As the government want us to go electrical they must suck up to the loss of tax revenues. You either screw us with Net Zero or continue as we are and getting lots of tax.

They will not 'invest' the money, they will just use it to pay their cronies in the unions and civil services.

  3. I think if they start tracking people there will be a lot of people going to the governments beloved ECHR, for claims about infringement of 'uman rights and invasion of privacy. Get enough angry voters and you are on a hiding to nothing. They would have to cancel fuel duty and road tax for it to be seen as fair. What a load of money grubbing wasters this government is.

  4. Increased fuel tax affects people that don’t even own a vehicle, in as much as delivery costs will get passed on to the consumer. When you consider everything is delivered to either shops or your door it’s inevitable that cost of the majority of goods will rise.

  5. Put Blair and Stamer in the street for 4hourss with no protection see how quickly they chamge there view on there politics there pushin on us who has to dealwith there bullshit deals ect!!! They profit while the country is destroyed within its like America!!! They only way they can be destroyed is within!!!!

  6. They could introduce a minimum flat tax to all vehicles that pay £0.
Pay by mile will charge a lot transport companies and that means higher prices for everything.
Also to put cameras in place to monitor the drivers trips it's a huge cost again from taxpayers pockets.

  7. The Tony Blair Institute… is a vanity project named to glorify one of the most wicked and damaging British prime ministers who ever lived.
It is totally inimical to the best interests of the United Kingdom.
This alleged christian should spend more time reading and learning from his bible (assuming he owns one) rather than interfering in public life and doing even more damage.

  8. Petrol and diesel car owners are already paying pay per mile government tax rates. Vehicle clocking has been going on for decades not to mention the dodgy MOT garages and the disposable scrap cars that will not see an MOT after a year. For the non electric car the pay per mile will cost more to implement than the current system.
