Brilliant points, we need more people to hear them. We have cell phones, roads, hospitals, police, schools and everything else and people whine poor me we have nothing. I know someone who owns two homes and multiple vehicles who whines and thinks they are so hard done by having to pay taxes.
I'm an American and I want to make this point. Don't look at Trump's last presidency as an indicator for how bad things will be. It will be much much worse.
The only thing about the royal family is that yes, the heir to the throne who lives in various castles and palaces wants to end homelessness, but the many people who are in fact much wealthier than the royal family don't even pretend to want to end homelessness. No one ever demanded to know why Rishi Sunak didn't spend his own money and use his own property to end homelessness.

I feel like O'Brien was unnecessarily harsh with Adam. He was trying to answer the question, I didn't get the impression he had egregiously awful views. Just describing a vibe rather than reality.
😅😅 I think some people have lost their minds. All they are looking at is kamala skin tone. That orange man does not have a policy for the Americans or the free world and people are are elevating his cruelty . I think they are cheering him on knowing that he is going to destroy the country so they can laugh at us. The world is watching to see if we're smarter than we say we are.
The way Trump and his henchmen talk about other Americans is incredibly troubling. Trump holds the kind of ideology that the very Americans who are cheering him on ancestors fought against. It’s just weird

The lame stuff you use to call him one aka him alledging saying he would get the troops involved, the democrats Biden and Pelosi have actually done to quell riots. You may not like DT but he is not a facist by the definition of it.
But who are the "fascists"? Could it be that the true fascists are trying to divert attention by false accusations, twisted words? It's something they do. It's always hard to recognize the devil.

I have been saying this for years…
But I also wonder if critical thinking can even be taught, post childhood.
These days, you have people who think they are thinking critically but are simply challenging everything out of fear and end up getting themselves and their kids sick due to challenging things like vaccines…
