The UK’s first female chancellor will deliver the first Labour budget since Alistair Darling in 2010, promising to put “more pounds in people’s pockets”.
But commitments not to increase income tax or national insurance on employees are likely to see companies hit with a greater share of the burden to help repair the nation’s finances and fund stretched public services.

Umm, min wage is about 15k net and an EV is about 60k with the insurance between about 5k-10k a year if they'll insure you. When you can buy a like new diesel for about 2k. Makes sense.

But they have just woken up to the huge black hole loss from this and LOSS OF FUEL TAX and so they try to PUSH A COST PER MILE , TO IMPACT ON UK PRIVATE BUSINESSES and the POOREST people in the UK!
Why not put a huge purchase tax on the petrol and diesel SUPER PERFORMANCE CARS and their OWNERS who DO NOT PAY ULEZ, but do pollute London and turn LONDON and CITIES into THEIR personal race tracks at night ! ?
This is why they want the older drivers with smaller cars who adhere to SPEED restictions and THE UK HIGHWAY CODE, out of THEIR way and off the roads!!?
A great budget delivered by a first woman chancellor. Proud moment for Britain. We need these measures to make Britain fairer. Increase inheritance tax next to 100% and ban private schools!
