Spanish emergency services say at least 62 people have been killed, after torrential rains sparked flash flooding in the country’s south and east. Severe weather warnings are in place for ten of Spain’s 17 regions.
The worst affected area is Valencia. Emergency sevices are working to reach areas where the flooding has hit hardest. The regional governor says many people are stranded in inaccessible locations.

the arrogance of so many who think we can go on as always, using 'tech' to maintain our consumerism lifestyle, are proven wrong, time, after time. no electrical cars, solar panels or co2 carbon trade is going to save our butt. Living a sustainable life using less energy, abd above all, far less consumption will. It will make our planet cleaner and living will be less stressfull and more pleasant and meaningfull. above all, we dont kill our fellow human beings, and our children. If this doesnt change the way we think about how we live and consume, then probably nothing will.
