Former Prime Minister Liz Truss has said it is “extraordinary” that Sir Keir Starmer wouldn’t have known about the further evidence against the Southport murdered Axel Rudakubana
New charges against Rudakubana broke last night, accusing him of possessing terrorist material and producing ricin.
Speaking to Mike Graham, Truss said: “I would find it extraordinary that he did not know what was going on. If you think, these materials were found in the suspect’s house – that must have happened fairly soon after the appalling atrocity that took place in Southport.

There are pictures of forensics in Hart Street on 30 July, 1 day after the attack.
We know they were checking for ricin, because the recent police statement said that no ricin was found in Hart Street.
So one day after the attack, Starmer must have been informed that ricin had been found at the suspect’s house.
