  1. Why didn't Labou then articulate what Johnson said? So then it wasn't really their fault, irrespective of the manifesto. Starmer hasn't handled things well thus far. but there is still time until the next election.

  2. Politically this budget has been a disaster. I am a Labour supporter but they lied to the electorate. They did not make it clear what they would do. Corbyn did make it clear and received a canning at the polls.

  3. First 1 or 2 episodes with HH were terrible because she was too stuck in holding the party line mode, like she was in media interview. I turned off. Went back after avoiding a few episodes and saw she had clearly rectified that and had a better understanding of the (pod) medium she was joining and her takes were much more interesting and insightful because of that. Then I listened to this weeks episode on the budget: absolutely awful. Totally reverted to that former 'on message' mode, even when very politely confronted with evidence (what they said/didn't say in the campaign) by Beth. Awful. Retreating to her default entrenched former career mode with defensive party line bollox (and I am a Labour voter, usually). No point in having her on as a fellow presenter if she is going to do that. It is NOT what a podcast is for, maybe ok for a guest interviewee but NOT for a presenter. Move her on Beth.
