  1. In November, I'm comfortably outside wearing a T-shirt in Germany.Yet, people will rather believe in three-eyed aliens than accept the reality of thermodynamics. That's what happens when you skip physics class in school 😂

  2. This is so sad, so many are responsible but are not speaking. Similar situation happened here on Bosnia and Herzegovina only 25 days before here. I hope there will be a solution soon. My prayers go to all who have lost their loved ones and properties.

  3. How many peoplee have been died so far in europe or lost their love ones, home and so on? How many people since 2002? How fast is the force of floods increasng next to the increasing number of greenhouse gases? Europe have to stay together! We need a helping force combining our armys, rescue services and volunteers.

  4. After and before 2021, they have broken many dams in Spain and 500 dams in Europe to restore nature. The government knows if you break all the dams, all the water will flow into the country and they want to restore the rivers and then you will get all those floods. It is a World Economic Forum policy that the government implements. So corrupt.

  5. The central government doesn't care about the regions. For them all the regions could burned to the ground and they wouldn't lift a finger.

And it is ridiculous to keep assigning these events to "climate change" when they happen periodically. They even have a name since they happen for centuries.

  6. Digging own grave

    The breeze, the drizzle and
The balmy days have forsaken us forever.
Why have they deserted us so?
What on earth did cause this?

    Torrent came and trampled down
The drizzle, while tempest blew the
    Breeze away, balmy days were
Burnt away by the blistering heat.

Felled the woods, fuelled your gluttony
Filled the sky with smoke and gas
    Furthered your fortune and ego
Furnace is what you made the planet

The heat of your haught awaken
    The watergiant in the poles,
Thaw from slumber are the glaciers
The oceans swell, islands are guzzled.

    Come what may, will achieve
    Carbon neutral, you pledge
Won't go beyond a degree and a half
Which turned out to be a lot of hot air.

Can't take even a decimal more
Care to come out of the hole
    Don't dig your own grave
Discretion is the need of the hour.

  7. I was there in the most affected area. Our company sent us home at 14:00 as we had Red alert due to heavy rain warnings. The mobile Phone warning arrived at 20:00, but we had warnings. When I got home, I talked to a car dealer in Sedaví that didn't know anything about the Red Alert and was later sent home at 19:00. The car dealer building does not exist anymore.
This was not the case everywhere, in the basin of the river Magro they were perfectly warned, they were sent home, they knew that the river was going to overflow, they were warned about the bridges…
The areas around the rivers were perfectly handled, we are used to it, we have had many tragic floodings over the years.
In Albal, Catarroja, Paiporta,…where the tragedy has happened we had the heavy rain red alert, but there was no rain at all. The tsunami came through the narrow ravines and destroyed everything in minutes.
The flooding risk down of the ravines south of Valencia warning failed clearly.
Terrible days. I am going there now to try to help.

  8. Some people have trouble understanding what a flash flood is, by comments I have seen repeatedly on social media, that people should have gotten away from the flood. Lots of people were just driving and were hit by a torrent of water appearing suddenly. That's why it's called flash flooding not normal flooding.

  9. We were there when it was happening. We were due to drive from Valencia to Toledo at 10 am on the 29th when we left there was very heavy wind in Valencia but an hour into our drive we were in the middle of the storm. Very heavy rain, strong wind and lightning. On the side of the highway we could see the water rushing past. The GPS directed us to leave the highway and take side streets to avoid traffic, thankfully we didn’t do that and stayed on the highway otherwise we could have been swept away. We are safe but it was the most frightening experience. We live in Singapore and are used to seeing heavy rain but I have never seen a flood ever. My heart goes out to all the people that were affected by this disaster.

  10. All of us who were born in Valencia know the phenomenon of the DANA, which has already cost more than 158 lives and counting, due to not warning the population in time.

The situation is clear. The work carried out after the floods of 1957, which was built with taxes that were only paid in Valencia, to build the new channel of the Turia river, has withstood the onslaught for the moment. It was one metre away from being overwhelmed. It has a capacity of 5000 cubic metres per second.

The problem comes from the Pollo ravine, which runs through the south of Valencia. Affecting 120,000 people without electricity, for example. The criticism I make is because in a small town in the province of Albacete, called Letur, where 6 people disappeared. 150 specialist personal were mobilized and in Valencia only 1000 UME troops were mobilized to assist more than a million people. Now, after 3 days, 500 more soldiers have been mobilized, this is a disgrace.

On TV they say that access is not possible because the roads are closed. Where is the Ministry of Transport and its personnel? Where is the army with the engineering means they have.

It is a disgrace of the politicians we have, they do not know how to do their job and that is causing more pain and stupor in the affected population.

  11. In US WITH HELENE THEY GOT 250 VICTIMS IN 3 STATES FLORIDA NORTH CAROLINA AND TENNESSEE!!!!!!IN SPAIN IN JUST A LITTLE CITY…VALENCIA THEY GOT THE SAME AMOUNT OF DEADS AND CLIMING!!!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE…SUPER REDICULUS SPANISH ""AUTHORITYS,""""

  12. Global warming?. This has always happened in this part of the word. There was a system built in the late fifties to alleviate this extreme flooding, and has been purposely destroyed. Liars all of you.

  13. There are were no any warnings in Valencia until the flood came. But in general in Spain people ar not aware of the ecological situation in the planet: they are drinking coffees in the cafeteria without switching engines of there cars and lorries on the streets! It’s shocking 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬The nature tough the lesson, destroying this cars, but people will never learn:(

  14. We too live in Valencia proper. The news reports can be confusing because Valencia is both the greater region as well as the capital city of the region. Similar to New York, NY. Our son returned from a trip overseas on Tuesday, just a few hours before the airport was flooded and shut down, stranding 1,500 travellers overnight. Authorities were unprepared because a flood like this hasn't occurred in a century. It caused triple the casualties of the previous largest flood back in 1957. The aftermath of that disaster compelled the government to redirect the Turia River, which bisects Valencia, to flow south of the city. It's mainly in the south where the majority of the deaths occurred. Whether one action led to the other time will tell. Another reason citizens were unprepared is because it wasn't even raining in many areas hit with the flash floods.

  15. The fact nature is being oppressed and not being allowed to grow is causing a lot of storms. We are damaging natural flood barriers and natural foundations due to not having enough plant life. If you allow plants to grow even help them, you will see natural disasters change.
