Severe flash floods in Spain has killed at least 158 people, as they swept through parts of eastern Spain – destroying buildings, submerging streets and trapping people under the rubble.

The extent of the destruction is so great it can be seen from space. The Spanish Prime Minister – visiting some of the worst hit areas in Valencia – said the most important thing was to save as many lives as possible.

The rest of the untold story here was that because of the preceding droughts, the ground was dry and parched so it couldn't absorb much of the rain which made for torrential river floods.
Why do we even report these floods, nobody cares. All I need to do is write “pray for…..” after every record breaking flood, get back to voting for scientifically illiterate idiots, and it will continue to get worse.
When people do not believe in climate change but mother nature proved them otherwise. We need to plant more trees, stop quarrying and deforestation. Countrys, town or cities that did not experience floods now will do. My sincere condoloences to the families.
