  1. There is one thing Leith is wrong about. Lion share of Australians care about their house prices going up above anything else. It's how we got into this mess electing the same type of clowns.
That's why mass immigration will never end. That's why young Australians will never own their own home, lucky ones will inherit it. That's why Australia is becoming one of the worst societies in entire developed world so quick and there is no solution for how we are going to deal with those desperate impoverished people whose lives we have condemned by our greed, selfishness and stupiduty.

  2. How can immigration be running hot? If they have a cap on numbers, how can we go over it by one hundred thousand? Surely we get to the limit then stop people coming in?

  3. Nothing wrong with our economy it’s the politicians ripping off people selling Australia out to foreign owned businesses, giving our resources away free, providing tax free to low tax on billionaires businesses, organisations ,companies, looking out only for themselves
Inflation, price rising on energy, groceries, the message couldn’t be any clearer we need to change the system and politicians need to be held responsible , and accountable for their actions, not get done for corruption and keep on going like nothing happened

  4. The recent announcement of a 50% increase in water bills in Sydney is likely only a taste of things to come. Come the next drought with population growth, dam storage is likely be be pushed to the limit, with more and more water users being connected and no real increase in capacity since Warragamba dam opened in 1960. Sure, more desalination could be built near the coast, although eventually we will get to the point where some of this water will need to be mechanically pumped 50km inland and to around 100m above sea level, as most of the new housing is being built in western Sydney. This will not be cheap water! I would question the economic viability of housing that needs such water supply. There is almost no understanding or appreciation of these issues within the key decision makers in government.

  5. As if a moron like Albo actually has any pull whatsoever! He and all politicians on both sides are just good little puppets who do what they're told whilst being rewarded handsomely for doing so… The corruption is beyond disgusting in this country and for someone who was once a very proud Aussie I'm now an embarrassed minority… In Melbourne especially! 🤦🏼‍♀️ We are the most over taxed, over governed, micro managed, Nanna State and the worst part is we have ALL allowed this to happen… We have been distracted and complacent for far too long and in doing so have inadvertently allowed these evil pricks to get to this point but the real and most important question we need to focus on is wtf are we ALL going to do about it? Because unless we figure that out pretty damn quickly we're all screwed and our kids will have us to blame (and rightly so) for not having the balls to stand up for our once beautiful country and fight back…😔😡🤬

  6. Crisafullofit has already started slashing spending in Queensland by cutting the Truth Telling fundings. This will result in Indigenous people not having any way to tell their stories and help heal from past trauma that follows us generation to generation.

  7. Statistically manipulated CPI figures. Transparency? This Labor government has minimum time left in office imho. You name it, the people have good right to be unhappy.

  8. Interesting how the key question of whether inflation causally impacts inflation is never questioned, regardless of the paucity of data that backs this assumption up or the evidence that suggests precisely the opposite is true…namely that increasing interest rates increases inflation.

  9. I like this Governor of the Reserve Bank
I wonder how better off we would be if these flim flam pollies spent time looking at doing their proper job instead of political scams to fool the public that they claim they are serving

  10. Why won't any government take their real agenda to an election? For example, Labor said almost nothing about "The Voice" before the election, but form the night of the election win until it was lost they would not shut up about it. They said nothing about banning free speech or dis-information, as they call it. they said nothing about the tsunami of immigration before the election but opened the flood gates after it. BE HONEST ABOUT YOUR AGENDA.

  11. Western Australia is also undergoing a huge inflow of overseas migrants. WA recorded the highest population growth rate of all the states, year-end Mar 2024 (3.1%). The population growth numbers reached record levels nearly 90,000 and 65,000 of these were overseas migrants. Rental vacancy rates are below 1%.

  12. Left wing activists have infiltrated all levels of our bureaucracy. (Where else could they find jobs?) Then all they hire is other left wing bureaucrats. I worked in a University and expressed view against "The Voice", then voiced arguments on how renewables would never work and how the Climate Change narrative is nothing but politically motivated junk science.
I was 'spoken to' by a senior manager and my contract was not renewed.

  13. The two party state , politics is theatre. Nothing changes cause they aren't calling the shots. The trick is to keep the sheeple tricked into believing its their votes that control policy. We are now unfortunately labrats in a technocratic state controlled by 'DS". We see what happens in the US when , we the people , challenge the secret power that sets policy. The NWO as BHWBush stated.

  14. Every year in the New Zealand, Australia and the UK, rental property investors are given massive unjustified subsidies on GST (VAT) and council rates. In NZ this totals over NZD 3 billion per year while in Australia it is over AUD 7 billion dollars a year. How about the UK?

Landlords do not pay GST (VAT) on rental income and pay only residential rates on their property which is used to derive taxable income. Owning a rental property and collecting income is a business activity. So how is this situation fair to all other businesses that pay their taxes?  It also deprives state, local and central government of much needed tax revenues.
