Trader Ferg, aka the Kiwi Kingpin of Kilowatts joined us on this episode of Energy Transition Talks.
As the world pivots to new energy sources, the role of traditional materials like platinum, uranium, and even coal is evolving. While electric vehicles and renewables are front and center in the narrative, these powerhouse resources are still critical to the energy landscape.
In this discussion, we explore how platinum is driving fuel cells, uranium is fueling clean nuclear energy, and coal’s role is shifting as the energy mix diversifies.
After my conversation with Trader Ferg, I was joined by 2 companies:
Global Atomic (TSX: GLO) – an aspiring uranium producer who owns the highest grade uranium deposit in Niger, Africa.
Metallic Minerals – a polymetallic exploration company active in the Yukon and Colorado, with exposure to copper, zinc, platinum, palladium, and even gold and silver.
In summary, this video contains a:
– Trader Ferg interview
– Global Atomic CEO interview with Stephen Roman
– Metallic Minerals interview with Scott Petsel

Stephen Roman… the original Iron Man…
Favorite YouTube channel!! Keep up the bangers🎉🎉
Ferg AND GLO. Wow.
Wanna see James Sykes from Baselode again
Interesting that the Global Atomic CEO won't acknowledge that bank is the DFC. Perhaps they have an NDA. The (or "a") Global Atomic environmental review submission to the DFC is publicly available. It can be found on a DFC server with a well targeted google search that will take you directly to the documents. Perhaps the DFC didn't mean for their document repository to be indexed and publicly accessible. I don't know. But it's there, and I've read it. The environment review is well written, by a Nigerien consultant.
Ferg's voice = very heavy vocal fry, unusual cadence + stuttering = I can get maybe 20% of what he says. I get juuuuust enough to understand he's saying something very important. Beyond that? I have no idea about the details.
Really great interview with Roman.
When was this recorded
Good GLO interview. You drew out interesting new details. Not the same old same old.
The reason I like Global Atomic so much is because this company nullifies any and all reasons to buy a SHIT Co junior. GLOBAL WILL become a producer, and that's the end of story. Listen to what Ferg stated about supply being ill prepared to meet demand. Dasa will become a mine. This company is the Jesus Christ of juniors. It's a developer getting unjustly crucified and paying for the sins of the SHIT Co sector – so that we investors don't have to suffer the Hell of buying SHIT Co, Inc. This IS your potential multi-bagger junior that Rick Rule rants and raves abut, damned be coup belt politics. It's the very best deposit on the continent of Africa! Amidst a uranium supply shortage! And a share can be yours for a ridiculous $.80 or so. Talk about pulling off a bank robbery without having to go through a North Hollywood Shootout!
Do you have a date of interview with Roman? Thanks!
I recall years ago TF recommended Greenland Minerals and Energy.
