They present themselves as these beacons of public service and duty when the reality is, they have become billionaires by taking huge amounts from the public purse. I'm embarassed for my country, that we allow this and far too many actively support it and cannot imagine something better for ourselves. No other european monarchy functions in this way today.
Everyone’s dumb the royal family have done well and run good business to stay afloat also the money is literally nothing 😂😂 the income they get is literally what a YouTuber would make a day .
Worth also remembering royals don't carry money, nor do they pay for most things, but are gifted in return for being able to display a "Royal Warrant".
I came so close to switching this off so many times, as I was raging! I've never liked the royals, the fact that they have dominated just by sheer inheritance over the centuries – They were never voted in democratically, and have just taken from the poor from way back when feudal systems dominated. Like all parasitic organisations, they dominate the MSM, they present a public image of what they want people to perceive of them, whilst in the background they just rinse the UK and the poor. The blatent hypocrisy leaves me without words. How anyone can support this bunch of parasites is beyond me – And as usual they will wheel out the old 'we bring money in with tourism' – It's outdated and untrue. They are a corporation, and as such should pay corporation tax – They are not above 'the people', they are governed by the people for the people – A vote should be held in repsect of whether we still need or want them. It's time for this outdated system to be disbanded!

The royals be fair? REALLY? Look at their history they have never been fair. They want to live in castles, live the royal life while the peasants pay for it. It's always been this way and they are not going to change. How about all the "CROWN" land in other countries???
The fact that they went out space to the Navy is not a big deal. It has to be done that they just rent somewhere. They can’t just give it away and don’t forget that also involves so many other parts of bureaucracy where comes to the military, the military industrial complex $1, million 1,000,000 pounds is a very low price if you really think about how much it is because The cost for any other
country like United States docs when there’s submarines in Canada and Nova Scotia is a lot more money than 1,000,000 pounds I’ll tell you that much
And don’t forget how much money the Royal family generates for the economy in Britain alone the estimate since the queen was queen is $1 trillion and tours of money alone since she was there and when she died the billions and billions of dollars that were signed deals are the countries on behalf of the British government on Britannia The Royals I want them to wear yours I want the pump. I don’t want Republican. I don’t want someone my bicycle in the main street. They are what makes England special compared to the rest of the world the pump is there the money is there deal with it they were born into the spoon, they cannot help it but they actually do a lot of good work

King Charles and his sausage fingers wiggling into those cliffs. Does Princess Anne have her teeth sunk in some public horse parks or apple farms. They were always very pale as if avoiding red meats or good nutrition. Prince Philip always seemed to eat well.
Kings and Queens have spent centuries devising ways of basically robbing their citizens or subjects. They thought they had the right 500 years ago and nothing has changed . All monarchies should be discarded into the dust bin of history .

Why are 100 year leases given to the Monarchy? Why would 100 year leases be given to anyone? These leases are a misuse of public property. Surely a case could be made for suing our government, for acting against the public interests?

There must be a lot of vested interest in upholding this corruption. Charles and William have not the wit to be doing this all on their own. A myriad of advisers, accountants and lawyers are doing very well out of these arrangements.

The archaic ' royal family rights' needs to be ended. They are running a profitable business. All the excuses that they bring money to the UK businesses through PR no longer works. Other big companies bring business to the UK and pay tax. As for them ruling the country well Charles wants to take Starmer out and protect ' his people and county . If he can't do that for us then what's he worth to us. It's all rubbish and needs to be ended. All the land belongs to the people of the UK. Time for change !
A bit of balance please – maybe it's wrong, but it is part of history. As a former tenant of the Crown Estate, their rents are 50% commercial rents in similar properties. If you are having a hard time, the are slow to evict you and will give you time. During Covid they removed 100% of rent for 2 years. Look at the example they give of Princetown School – they flash up the £15,200 amount whilst the commentary says, 'Thousands of pounds a month' , but they don't mention that the 15k is per YEAR. So basically the school gets all the buildings plus more than one acre of land for £1270 per month!! That is a steal! would a private developer give such a deal? This of course is never mentioned in this documentary.
nothing i haven't heard about before, it's their land i do have an issue of them not paying any tax that has to change.
The NHS contributing to their income is dystopian. Obscene.
