I do quite like the new Champions League format, but I don't agree with the qualifiers. I don't think a team that finishes 24th in the league stage, should have a chance to go on to win it. Think it should just be the top 16 go through, and seed them for working out the first knockout rounds fixtures.
Well that's probably another 40m that will probably be added to Gyokeres transfer fee. I just don't see Arsenal breaking the bank to land him in January and I think United will come in for him given their new Manager.

Sorry Tom Nottingham Forest aren’t in better form than Arsenal—claiming that is factually incorrect. The league table only gives a true reflection at the season’s midpoint and end, not after just 10 games. Otherwise, it’s an unfair measure; not every team has played each other, so you can’t say Arsenal are the 5th best team or any team is “the best” based on such an early snapshot. Early standings often don’t capture actual strength—teams can start strong or weak, only for the table to shift dramatically later. You can’t accurately evaluate until every team has played each other at least once.

Rice has been below par this season. It's a good opportunity to see partey and Merino partnership in the middle.

Regarding Edu, I think it's nothing to do with $$$, but the fact he has run his course, given this year is a big year for the club given the past two seasons. I think the pressure was getting little too much

You always talk about context when comes to Arsenal but you brush off the context surrounding the Girona manager. They lost quite a few first team players that were integral to their season last year. Not saying I want him as our manager but I just find it funny the way you have chosen not to add context to that situation.
What if in January there is no one willing to come to Arsenal we just can't go and panic buy
@Tom The rate and manner in which we have had injuries this year, I feel the God/Universe doesn't want us to win the league 😢. We have a great squad but these annoying injuries have set us back this season.

I'm on the record (as I said it live on YouTube) that I was a big fan of Gyokeres and had been for some time based on his form in Portugal and with Coventry.
However, I understand why clubs passed over him this summer given, despite his performances in Europe, he hadn't "done it" in a "top league" – but he'll get a huge move in 2025.
