  1. The finance minister was the one who was more likely to want to support Ukraine and trash the German economy (though they think it would be saving it). The FPD is very anti-government-spending and anti-taxes except for defense. They are the most neoliberal of the parties in Germany and were always a weird coalition partner.

I am not a fan of the CDU or SPD (and certainly no fan of the German Green Party) but FPD takes their problems to a whole new level.

  3. It's very simple. They are off the Russian oil and gas, plus they closed their nuclear power plants as well. Plus they are playing the nice guys with all these illegals, etc etc. They are just spending and spending money.

  4. Solving Germany's problems are not only not easy, I'll argue, they are downright close to impossible. And this applies to the whole Europe. Whatever they do, there's no way Germany or any European power will make much difference. Why? Europe needs to buy nearly all of their raw materials from outside, human resource is very very costly and no one is willing to do low value high volume kinda works. The only group of people willing to do that are the poor immigrants. No not all immigrants are poor. Those coming to do their PhD in Germany aren't going to clean drains or screw up nuts and bolts. So u need the poor ones but they are often illegal! So, Europe has her both ways blocked.

  5. Don't worry about the coughing and that…I think you have a broad understanding of the big picture. My first time watching this part of your channel and I hit sub straight away. Cheers

  6. Hello DPA News, im from Germany, nice coverage on point. A Rumor thats also is going around, that is contradicting to the dispute over the financing type of Ukraine (as extra-debt or in the bugdet), says Mr. Lindner was requesting sending Taurus to Ukraine which is a red line for the chancellor.
