Have you ever made a New Year’s Resolution? Have you ever broken a New Year’s Resolution? When it comes to making goals, the hard part is making sure that they’re specific and actionable so that we can actually achieve them. And that goes for sustainability goals, too. In this episode, we’ll look at the world’s sustainability goals, how they’re going, and what we can do about it.

Talking to people about wishcycling is tough sometimes. Telling someone who means well they're doing something wrong can make them feel frustrated or overwhelmed, and I sometimes get tired of repeating myself.
I think it helps to frame it as a simplification though. E.g. it's easier to "just throw out anything with food grease" than to know a full list of recycling details.
In general I think it's better to lose a small percentage of your recyclable materials than to "recycle" a bunch that has to be sorted out, but I don't know exactly where that balance lies.
wishcycling is an issue because there should not be materials that are not recyclable out for consumer consumption.
we just lost an election because people were so ill-informed… these people are not going to care about recycling unless it is so easy they literally don't have to do it,.
