yes this is true but in the Bible it says humans are made in Gods image so therefore we are more important. we are still called to be stewards of the earth and take care of the earth and the animals in it and we seem to be failing.

no matter what religion, what political party, what opinions you have i firmly believe our plants, animals etc. should come first, and humans should come second. i am a christian, and God said that Adam and Eve (humanity) would rule over the earth. a good leader puts their people before themself, therefore, we should always put preservation nature before ourself. God gave us nature to protect, he put us in charge to protect the earth. but humans always manage to put themselves first
