The Parliament building, which now relies solely on solar energy, will help the government save about RM1 million a year.
Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul said using solar power would also help contribute to Malaysia’s commitments towards net-zero emissions.
He said this in a press conference after opening the Third Malaysian Parliament Symposium, held at the Parliament building here, today.
