  1. Henry is 1000% right. The foundation is Xavi's making even rapha started performing well towards the end of last season. The high line by flick is what xavi actually tried when Madrid bodied us only that he never knew how to perfect it. Why are you obsessed with Xavi? He did is part move on. He isn't the worst coach he had flaws , we didn't enjoy most of the matches and we were bad but he is still better than the previous two or three coaches before him. Your analog of koeman on trophies is just illogical. Flick is building on Xavi's work. The high line was used by xavi severally.

  2. I see Henry’s point. Since most of our top performers now under Flick was brought in under Xavi eg. Lewandowski, Kounde, Raphinha and then the players promoted from La Masia more out of necessity due to financial problems. So yes there is a base or core of players for Flick to work with but Xavi couldn’t get the best out of this group with his style of play and mentality. So Mo is right that Flick has come in ripped it all up and has the team performing at a much higher level with his system and style of play. 💪

  3. love how this guy is finally being called out for his anti-Xavi agenda. He doesn’t miss a chance to take digs at Xavi while praising Flick. Just look at his livestreams – I'm so fed up with him constantly calling out Xavi

  4. I don’t see Henry was wrong, If Xavi was not credited of the squad he was building and all the success so far is the lone tactical and training program of Flick, here is a question, why was Flick not successful with German national team?

  5. Some of you have it wrong. Yes, Xavi did promote youngsters, but not because he wanted to, but because he had to. Lamine, Cubarsi were put on the squad do to Dembele leaving and Cubarsi do to injuries if not they would’ve never made it to the first team. Look at Casado and Bernal for reference. Also, Xavi didn’t lay the foundation of this team. Flick came in and is playing the same way he did with Bayern. Same structure, intensity and mentality. You guys give Xavi way too much credit. Yes, he did good winning two trophies for us but aside from that he did nothing. Watch the Barcelona from last season and compare it to this season and show me the foundations that you see from Xavi? Flick plays direct and aggressive and Xavi is passing and passive. Totally different styles.

  6. 6:34 i know you do that like xavi, and i know he wasn't an elite manager, but almost all the stars for flick except casado were nurtured by xavi
8:20 that proves my point brother, xavi unfortunately was just not an elite managerbut he built the foundation

  7. I'm agree with Henry. He knows better Barcelona. Xavi spark Barca when he arrived. Without Messi he brought La liga with young team. Xavi didn't mark he is best but he wasn't that bad.

  8. Mo pls pls stop spreading this virus, hope you know we all watch these games just like you do stop colouring our thoughts because we listen to your podcast, Henry played this game to highest level & even played for the club also coached club and country.
Xavi might be technically sound as Flick rubbishing everything about him is wicked, Fliçk inherited a better team than Xavi with less crisis all injured that coming back now all happened during Xavi time, there were well organised Madrid press attacks to unsettle him & the team, Xavi is a Catalan strong emotion than any non Catalan
Mo pls try that your analysis have human face, deep and well thought out.
Mo you are doing a good job- Live & More brother.

  9. He didn't say Xavi was responsible for Flicks success, Xavi indeed started the project they both play similar just flick is a bit more intense and implemented new ideas too.

  10. Henry is right. Respect Xavi foundation. He is a club legend. Koeman is also a club legend. Where is the love and loyalty towards the players and staff that have made the club great? You must be careful disrespecting our team

  11. I am reading all this comments and I think I have come to the conclusion that Barca fans has a soft heart for Xavi they can’t see any wrong in him, did yall forget what lead to him getting fired? .
Xavi: “ we don’t have money to compete”
    1. Xavi didn’t believe in most of his players he initially had because him and the club kept on buying more players that he didn’t know how to use e.g, Kessie, Raphinha, Lewandowski, Ferran and Romeu except kounde .
    Xavi still wanted more players
and as for the la masia players, did you think if we were financially stable Xavi would have chosen 16 year olds to play?.
Xavi was running out of options hence why he looked towards La masia which one of them was going to leave if not for Flick.
Flick came in with one mindset “I will use what we have and what ever I am given” then implemented his high line and counter attacking style with players Xavi didn’t know how to use to their full potential, which Flick made some of these players that we wanted out becoming literally the best players in the world right now.
So was Xavi foundation laid by accident or did he not have the right players that suited his style or did he not have a style at all? or are you telling me every new coach success is credited to the previous coach?
Also can someone mention Xavi playing style to me?

  12. It’s obvious that you feel some type of way about Xavi as a coach. You are valid to feel that way but it sucks as a subscriber to have to hear you shit on Xavi whenever you can, mostly when Flick’s Barça shows success. In those moments, you sound exactly like ESPN & El Chiringuito, always trying to find another way to throw a jab at Xavi. It’s annoying.

  13. I guess giving opinion aint a crime, but i completely disagree keeping all my love for xavi aside and my personal emotions… what your missing is the positive side of the xavi’s project, maybe instead of pin pointing we should give credit where it is due, first of all we didn’t win the league out of luck so stop saying that again and again feels like you only watched the last half of the season where they were barely scoring due to lack of motivation but we earned the title with blood and sweat, there was no discipline or charisma, xavi introduced old rules and regulations, even the locker room completely shifted we were having wonderful games too, we were actually competitive may it be bayern real or any other team all we he lacked was experience which hansi perfectly has it in abundance and he knows how to flourish a player at its peak which xavi clearly lacked, and just when he thought he found his team the negative media just poisoned the entire locker room and players and even the management started having doubts, i was the first one to say to replace xavi with hansi but ain’t gonna forget what he did and how it all started, if you grow a plant you don’t forget about the seeds you sow before it became a tree, comparing it with koeman doesn’t make sense since koeman had zero tactics atleast xavi knew what he wanted…

  14. People are just happy that xavi to a falling barcelona team to league success and champion league quarter finals but mo is saying that barcelona where supposed to be is higher than the height of xavi barca xavi was not at the level but it doesnot mean thing can change
