The NHS only wants African immigrant quack doctors. And the government even abolished the English language test for such people.
France and Germany – the GP salary is £60k. Here in Britain it's £120k minimum, and often £200k.
Yes this is a thing. I was told by the first one that it was happening this country for over 15 years and it came from the US.
We've had it several times at both mine and my moms surgeries.. I was also told that an advance nurse practitioner was the same as a GP by the admin person at moms. I only found out by chance that none of them were a fully qualified general practitioner. I ask questions and general talk to people when they work in a way that I am not used to. As to a paramedic, they are probably your best bet in many situations though diagnosis of a cancer by them I think would be impossible.

I found a good medical practice in a copy of "Which Doctor?"
They have been using these here in South Wales for a long time, if i am lucky to get to see one, they go through the problem but cant do anything unless they go and see the GP first, complete waste of time and effort. The whole thing is collapsing, just had a an appointment letter today for the hospital, been waiting 9 months, the letter states that this is a SHORT notice appointment ???? for an Appointment on 31st January 2025. How the hell is that a short notice ?????? all in all, it will be 1 year when I go to the appointment.

The last time I was at the Doctor’s surgery, because I got a letter from my GP to say I was due a blood pressure check, and to phone for an appointment for my yearly BP check. I phoned, made an appointment for the check, reported to the surgery for that check, and was asked by the nurse why I was there, how did I get an appointment, and what my my blood pressure reading was!
My reply to that was, I was lettered by the surgery to make that appointment, which I duly did, and was here for her to check my blood pressure, and for her to tell me what it was!!!!

Never many patients in my doctors , just empty seats , smelt that rat ages ago. Always phone consultations with a pharmacist, before ever seeing a doctor. No medication reviews, they are just not looking after the patients. Disgusting.

I looked after my mum over kast few years.She couldn't get to see a doctor, she had visits from ambulance people.
I felt totally responsible for my muns care.For sorting her tablets for her palliative care also.
She died in hospital in February i am sure they killed her.
With morphine and madazilam.

They used training doctors during Covid 19. I was given 16 anti biotic by trainee doctors. I found out from a doctor after the Covid 19 when I was worried about having so many and still had the problem. Then I had to be sent to a specialist
