They interviewed two groups, although much more one side than the other…One group looked, and sounded like dis-gruntled criminals…Like the kind who steal heavy equipment, and have radios and guns……..The other group dosent give off that vibe…
What is the point of bringing "Net-zero" home in this news segment? Carbon neutrality and home surveillance… is it a form of political promotion? Or does it imply home security is having a negative impact on Net-zero homes as a carbon generating behavior punished by eviction? I don't understand. Yet what I do understand is this seems to be quite a toxic neighborhood! How is the criminality over there? And what's this about outside contractor choices, is this also in the rental agreement?

I set up security cameras on reservation with no issues because it's private land owned. Those buildings on Caldwell rez is rental properties not owned by Caldwell residents. Have to abide with Caldwell rules. Til Caldwell residents gets their own properties on Caldwell land then they can do whatever they want on their properties. Same applies to rental apartments anywhere no security camera or camera doorbell is allowed on their apartment doors. I know some rental duplexes on rez has Ring camera wireless doorbells but no issue has arisen. I guess it's based on individual rez band office's rules
If you are in a public place, you have no expectancy of privacy from surveillance.

There was evidence that others are watching too not just owners of camera and no one life’s in these units to that have the cameras
The video of kids in mask is a Halloween party for kids and the camera footage came from a empty house that’s still empty today and it was 8pm at night police was called for kids playing at 8pm and we all told not to screw into outside of house I guess some ppl just can’t listen to rules
Two of these ppl wrote the housing policy rules and now they think they don’t need to follow them 😢
Put them inside, looking out of the window. And this is what self governing looks like.
