It is amusing to watch these kind of videos. People seriously trying to explain psychologically why others are 'falling' for climate denial as some form of mental affliction. Funny because these (self) righteous earnest looking explainers usually don't have a clue about the climate system as a whole. They have been indoctrinated for so long they can't see the wood for the trees. You can tell because when you dig a little deeper and ask questions they will show their shallow understanding and very quickly resort to namecalling. I wish I shared this optimism. In order to have made any significant headway to mitigate CO² would have been to have started 50 or more years ago. Our energy demands and population continue to grow each year, as does GHG emissions. We have to grapple with collapse, in the next few decades, being a reality.

Our economic system is, and always will be, fossil fuel based. The economy is our life support system. 8 billion humans can only be supported at current energy consumption levels, and "clean" electricity can never hope to substite what oil and coal provides. The ecomomy, as well as being based on a finite resource, is dependent upon credit funded by infinite growth. Our life support system is very obviously unsustainable and WILL collapse at some point. The new barons make their billions from fossil fuel based consumption (try building a Tesla or selling a computer without having oil!), and they will therefore lobby to maintain growth rates – until we go over the cliff due to climate change, nuclear war, resource depletion, mass migration, pandemic, or, most likely, a combination of two or more of these issues. No credible economist can argue against any of this. Only massive reductions in consumption – requiring de-population and strategic economic recession – could make any difference. This will never be allowed to happen. Enjoy the ride… PS. Copper will be the first major resource to become completely depleted. Without copper, everything stops.

Who actually are the "liberal" they?
One way of getting people onside is to stop lying about the solutions. If, as we are told wind and solar are the way forward, why are all of the major players operating data centers looking to nuclear to power them? You would think that if the wind and solar worked as well as we are told, Amazon, Google, Oracle etc would be building their infrastructure using these forms of power generation, but they are not. Draw your own conclusions from this.

There is one question that is never addressed that would expose the "climate crisis" for the scam that it is, which is "What percentage of the atmosphere is CO2?" The answer, never given in plain language, is that CO2 is currently around 420 parts per million, (google it) increased, they tell us, from 280 ppm in 1850. That's a difference of 140 ppm, or in terms more readily understood by the layman, the composition of the atmosphere has changed by 0.014% (14 thousandths of 1%) in the last 170 years. LESS THAN 1 THOUSANDTH OF 1% PER DECADE! How much closer to "zero" do they think it's possible to get? How gullible do you have to be to believe that this rate of change is causing extreme weather events, which have always happened and always will? Their claim is that this tiny amount "traps heat". ALL gasses dissipate heat and even if CO2 is an exception, the suggestion that a total of 0.042% can overwhelm the capacity of the remaining 99.958% to dissipate that heat is abject nonsense. CO2 DOES NOT control the global temperature, there is no "climate crisis". Wind farms, solar panels, heat pumps, EV's.. None of these measures are necessary, nor will they have the slightest effect on the weather. Eye-watering sums of money have already been wasted on this futile exercise. Time to wake up, stop throwing our money at these boondoggles and squandering the world's resources on projects that cannot possibly succeed as there never was a problem to begin with. There is no need to save the planet from a minuscule increase in the gas on which all life depends, but it does need to be rescued from idiot politicians and media mouthpieces that push this garbage. The rich, self-serving political leadership who espouse climate change denial will be protected from its' worst effects with their resources. The rest of us, not so much. Me, I'm old and will not be around for the worst effects either, but it still pains me to see what we are doing to the planet and I vote accordingly.
Don't overthink things guys. It's very simple:
Burning fossil fuel increases CO2 emissions which heats the global climate (off itself, and by tripping various tipping points re increased methane from permafrost melt etc). But our economy has been built on this model since the industrial revolution, so those deep, rich, invested powers find it difficult to change voluntary.
Either they will be forced to change from public pressure or we will blow through all the tipping points over the next 50 years and then all modern human civilization becomes impossible to run. The only 'joy' in the later path is all the billions the rich put aside will have zero value in the world they created as it will be too unstable from extreme violent weather. So they will be as doomed as our modern human civilization. The undeveloped, the hunter/gatherer's will struggle on.

In international zoom meetings people from every other part of the world tell me that they have no science denial. They have obstacles to climate action, but not ignorance of science.
"Climate Denial" exists because some of us are scientists and engineers who can't be fooled by simple propaganda. Read the science, no alarmism is needed, the people who are selling you alarmism and doom are also selling you books, content, or politics… Actual scientists all agree that there is no 'crisis'.
