The small Himalayan nation of Bhutan was the world’s first carbon-negative country.
With 70% of its land covered by forests, it absorbs three times more carbon dioxide than it emits.
However, despite the country’s efforts to protect the environment, rising temperatures and a changing climate is leaving it vulnerable to natural disasters.

Until Americans make it there. The western civilization will ruin it.
My dream…it is in my bucket list❤
This is a good example of how climate change cannot be tackled on an individual country level
Make joint istighfar , repent
Beautiful Bhutan. Green and average 25% is standard but 70% is great. The melting ice from mountains due to global warming is higher so lakes are over loaded. All due to climate change.
Love you bhutan
The world is undergoing rapid change, and I can’t help but imagine the global challenges future generations will be forced to confront if we continue on our current path. If the trajectory of environmental degradation persists, the consequences will be felt even more deeply leaving them with the immense responsibility of managing the hardships we are already starting to face. From extreme weather patterns to resource scarcity, the burden of these issues will weigh heavily on the future, making it crucial for us to act now to protect the planet for those who will inherit it
Don't let the eyes of the izraali fall onto this marvellous land, they will say God gifted this to them in some books back in the days!😊
Just kidding.
❤
Climate change: don't blame this one on me. China 🇨🇳 is drying up rivers and lakes by building dams. 😂
China 🇨🇳 yes.
Al Jazeera ❤️👍
Plz start glacier seedling like volunteers doing in Pakistan. Videos are available, watch & appreciate them.
Unfortunately it also has a darker side of racism too 😢
