  1. Well, climate change is already here and is irreversible. I mean, the already emitted CO2 will stay in the atmosphere for hundreds of years and heat up the planet. I mean, we need to measure to not make it even worse for the next generations

  2. That girl we all loved to hate was right. Just more talk talk talk talk talk. Any other animal presented with a similar problem wouldn't sit around talking about it they would do something about it its called instinct.

  3. Environmental factors in air pollution are involved in the development of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease.

Exposure to various toxins, including metals and biotoxins, may increase the progression of Alzheimer's disease.

  4. The simple truth is that too many humans (3,000 times more than were our H-G ancestors), are using too many nonrenewable natural resources, and producing too much pollution, including GHGs and waste heat, such that we are generating the heat energy equivalent of 20+ Hiroshima nuclear bomb blasts PER SECOND (Eliot Jacobson), where each one releases 63 trillion BTUs. To ignore the role of our massive overpopulation and overconsumption in degrading our environment is insane and belies our lack of compassion for the unconceived child otherwise to join the 108,000 (net) born today in a world rapidly heating, on a trajectory that may see an extinction level 6 degC above the C3S 1991-2020 baseline by 2047, when today's child turns 22, unless already dead from heat exhaustion, starvation, dehydration or war. All the rest is just more BLAH, BLAH, BLAH.

  5. Also, @6:50… please update your video to reflect that it was Eunice Foote who did the experimentation and measurements to learn the behavior of specific gases causing the effect supposed by Fourier long before Tyndall was involved. John Tyndall (editor of her paper in the American Journal of Science) claimed her work as his own. This is well documented. Our patriarchal society is really harsh, no?

  6. Keep in mind, that Primates evolved in the trees (near the poles), 55 million years ago. Humans came along 52 million years later, but it points out that the Earth can still be livable for Primates. Proto-horses evolved 56 million years ago, survived through the PETM, grew bigger during the Eocine (the E in PETM), and we then called them Equine modern horses.

Only a few will survive, not 8 billion. Sorry, but nobody is getting a proper plan together. I'm sailing to south south south America, where temps will be okay.

  7. To raise the Earth's global temperature by 1 degree Celsius, it requires approximately 5 exajoules (5 followed by 18 zeros) of energy, which is roughly equivalent to the entire energy consumption of the United States for 4 million years.

  8. We are done! The food chain is toxified, autism is out of control, billionaires addicted to ketamine and Adderall are running things, microplastics are in the bodies of fish and people, every drop of rain water contains glyphosate molecules, over 200 man made chemicals found in mother's milk, boreal forests burning down as permafrost is in full melt down, 95% of alpine glaciers melting as the ice caps melt, methane levels skyrocketing, even wood burning has now increased, intense heat waves killing people, marine heat waves bleaching corals, and an idiot who plays golf every week is running the country as our Constitution is trashed. IT IS OVER FOLKS! THE WASTELAND IS COMING FOR ALL OF US.

  9. We want sortitian as layed out by xr, lots of other systems thinkers have finally arrived at similar models, write on the ballot paper none of the above WE DEMAND SORTITIAN

  10. If Climate Change is a long term variation of temperatures, how do we call the short term change? When the Planet doesn't have time to adapt to the fast chain reactions that business men are profiting from? How is it called? Why don't we call it as the Greenhouse gas effect? Is it because it's too close to the greenhouse gas emissions industry? Is that why we keep calling it Climate Change? To protect profits from intergenerational theft?
