I imagine sandstorms scary. I once wanted to go out for a walk before it starts to rain and I was surprised by strong winds instead. There was a F-ton of dead leaves, small twigs and whatnot lying around and it suddenly became a fluid up to 10ft high! It came like a Tsunami at me and all I could do was brace myself for impact… I couldn't see S and despite having closed my eyes, I felt something rubbing on my eyes. I needed to wash my eyes, but nature did that already for me by basically waterboarding me in rain like I've never seen before and just to sweeten the whole deal, I saw trees falling and a construction fence falling over in a huge chain reaction along with a lot of other madness…
There's a remote place in India where you can still find human bones lying around. It was apparently a procession that got surprised by a massive hailstorm.
ive always wondered why there are cities in disaster zones, like places where there are tornadoes or earthquakes regularly – i live in a place without much aggressive weather or dangerous wildlife – but now were all in destination fucked, the megacorps and the politicians in their pockets have done too much damage to the environment. maybe we never get the massive storms here, but the oceans will rise and we'll have to move to higher ground, where the earthquakes and bears are.
