Not once in this hour long talk did they acknowledge the evil corporations and empires that perpetuate this collapse. A lot of fanciful talk about how people are like this, or people are like that. The majority of people are aware of this and want a better future, it's the think tanks and billionaires that fund them that have disrupted any chance we have of saving ourselves. You know what unites people better than anything? Hatred, if you want to build a community point the finger at the assholes who got us here.

The amazing thing is that very few people see the connection between overpopulation, increased crime, starvation, and environmental degradation. Continuing to create humans means more and more slave labor for billionaires. If we severely lessen the creation of humans, the more money and power per person. This action should have happened a long time ago, so the poor and working class had money and power.
Great job calling out "toxic positivity". This is what the mainstream media is engaged in. Most mainstream media are owned by billionaires like Musk and Bezos and Zuckerberg, whose fortunes are entirely dependent upon fossil fuels. They will literally say anything and do anything to avoid facing the Truth, which would crush their fragile inflated egos and force them to acknowledge that the party is over and that soon they will be broke and penniless and will no longer be elite rich guys. In clinging to delusion, they are accelerating our demise. It is scientifically and mathematically certain that with 850 giga tons of C02 now in the atmosphere and with the much more potent methane releases accelerating exponentially, this civilization and the human race are finished. The collapse is coming sooner than people think. The incompetent and delusional Trump administration will further accelerate the collapse. Soon after collapse, human extinction will quickly follow. I believe by 2030…maybe sooner. There has never been this much C02 in the atmosphere. Previous extinctions from climate change in Earth's past have happened with far less C02 in the atmosphere. Bringing children into this world is pure selfishness and ignorance. These parents are signing a very early death warrant for these kids. Time is now very short for homo sapiens on Earth.

Excellent talk. However, I would like to add on the "pop Leninist/mutual aid" tangent: Purely horizontal organization is pretty much part of the structural weakness in occupy and the popular leftist movements of the following years. Media captures the narrative of these movements and dilutes them. Mutual aid? Sure! But some sort of coherent leadership is still a very worthwhile objective.
