
Deadly wildfires continue to spread across South Korea, prompting authorities to designate three more counties as special disaster zones.
At least four people have died, and hundreds have been forced to flee since the fires began Saturday, fueled by strong winds and dry weather.
Acting President Han Duck-soo expanded disaster relief efforts, visiting affected areas and meeting displaced residents, Reuters has reported.
The designation unlocks additional funding and recovery measures as authorities work to contain the blazes and support victims.
