Amid rising threats from war, climate change and disease, the EU is urging every household to stockpile enough food and supplies to last three days in case of a crisis. Crisis Management Commissioner Hadja Lahbib also called for building up the EU’s strategic reserves of critical resources to respond to “every type of emergency including chemical, biological and nuclear threats”. Plus, amid Donald Trump’s tariff wars, a majority of French adults are in favour of boycotting American goods.

It is the EU and no other entity, national or international, that is uniquely positioned to become a conceptual GDAE, Global Democratic Alliance of Earth. The EU has the capability and experience to vet and admit democracies. If they do so increasingly outside of Europe, to include all democracies of the world, then not only will the EU become the most important governance alliance on Earth but democracy will cement itself all around the planet.

It’s all about getting EU citizens to accept increased military spending and growth…they saw how opposed Spain is, amongst other countries. This fear mongering does not mean war (Europe would be blitzed by Russias nuclear capabilities), it’s a dillusional idea that the EU can survive without USA as the main NATO member. They want citizens to approve of investing in military (it’s been neglected for decades)
