Ford is right about Hydro giving out false times , when hydro will be back on , It do's give a person time to get supplies that are need . I was prepared for 72 hrs , not for 8 days. Thanks to our new PM , gas went down 20 cents . Which helped out , I'm spending 60 dollars a day on gas when the weather warm. If the night are cold you look at 90 dollars . Here the kicker I got notice from my land lord the rent went up by 5 percent . lol

Are there any plans to help out some of the residents that have increased costs in gas to run generators or to help them cover the cost of the food they lost in their freezers and fridges. I'm in southern Ontario so not directly affected but have family in both Barrie and Orillia.
If it was election time they would've done this presser one day after the power went off!!!!! This is disgusting to let people suffer for so long….i saw 3 Ontario Hydro trucks at a restaurant in the middle of the afternoon 3 days ago so don't effing tell me that they're going around the clock!!!!!!!! Why don't you lend out generators to people so they don't have to sleep in their vehicles Doug!?!?!

He use the tiolet at hotel I work at even though the power was off so no water! What a giant turd he left it was steaming and stinking out the hole place! So my boss made take the tiolet off the floor and throw it out back! Man what a smell

So when we had a big hurricane back a few years ago in nova scotia the americans came to the rescue and had power restored within a week. I am guessing the USA has not sent any crews this time
