Lawmakers just introduced the Polluters Pay Climate Superfund Act (SB 684/AB 1243)—a bill that would make the biggest fossil fuel companies pay for the climate damage they’ve caused in California. 💰⛈️
After the L.A. wildfires killed 29 people and caused $250 billion in damages, state leaders are pushing to hold polluters accountable. The bill would:
