China In Ruins | Super Typhoon Rips Through Beijing, Hebei & Fujian Like Disaster Movie
Strong winds wreaked havoc in Beijing and parts of northern China on Saturday, forcing hundreds of flights to be canceled, tourist attractions to be closed and train lines to be halted, state media said.
The strong winds were mainly caused by a cold front that formed over Inner Mongolia that moved east and south, sweeping across northern China from Friday through the weekend, the China Meteorological Administration (CMA) said.
Temperatures in the capital were expected to drop as low as 12 degrees Celsius (50 degrees Fahrenheit) on Saturday, and meteorologists warned that wind speeds could match or exceed April records dating back to 1951.
The state-run Xinhua news agency reported that gusts of up to 150 km/h (93 mph) were expected.
Beijing had earlier issued its first orange alert — the second-highest level — for strong winds in a decade for the weekend.
As of Saturday morning, 413 flights at Beijing’s international airport had been canceled, state broadcaster CCTV said.
Rail services including the airport express subway line and some high-speed rail lines have also been suspended, CCTV added.
Tourist attractions including the Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven, the Beijing Zoo and the Universal Studios theme park were also temporarily closed on Saturday.
Nearly 300 trees in the Chinese capital were uprooted and 19 vehicles were damaged, CCTV said, adding that no injuries from the strong winds had been reported in Beijing.

なぜか、同情できない。
Là Chine est frappée chaque année par de gros typhons d'avril à octobre en moyenne ils en prennent 10 par ans.. rien de nouveau ou exceptionnel
Actuellement a Shanghai, au niveau de l'aéroport il fait 15° vent à 25km/h visibilité dégagé 😅
D'ailleurs il a fait beau tt le weekend.
Une alerte a été émise pour le nord et nord ouest de la Chine pour des tempêtes de sables, possibilité de vent fort, et pour la Chine méridionale des pluies modéré a fortes, mais aucun typhons et surtt aucun typhons n'a frappé la chine ces derniers jours 😅 sinon quel est son nom ? Pourquoi aucun media n'en parle ? Pourquoi je ne trouve absolument aucune radio, télé, vidéo de celui-ci sur tt internet ?!
Et pourquoi les images que vous montrez sont celles de typhons des 3 dernières années dont le dernier fut en septembre 2024 ?!?
