On Saturday, April 19, multiple regions across Guangxi, were hit by a sudden outbreak of severe convective weather, bringing violent thunderstorms, strong winds, heavy downpours, and hail. Several cities, including Baise, Hezhou, and Hechi, suffered significant damage. Among the worst-hit areas was Baise, where fierce winds and hailstorms tore off rooftops, uprooted trees, and caused substantial damage to both industrial facilities and residential homes. According to local authorities, the storm swept through Baise’s Youjiang District in the afternoon.
