'You're a beautiful writer…… All of us who strive for beauty don't like other beautiful writers'. π
This was great and a rare chance to see Chris in a more relaxed moment. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and insight Chris. What you know and what you do to share it weighs heavily on you, I am certain of it. I'm not sure it's worth much, but I am very grateful.
Worth the listen just to hear your wonderful laughter Chris!
Chris never disappoints.
Chris,
Another great interview thank you.!
Eiren Caffall, Ur brilliant, and you had a very down to earth lovely glow about you.
I follow a very great doctor named Dr Ken D Berry. He did a short video on all kinds of misinformation about kidney disease
I think you might find it interesting.

Didn't they hear? The 'climate crisis' has been canceled. The coming AI-driven Borg system will need at least 100 times the energy we use today by 2030. The 'climate crisis' has been memory-holed. Eric Schmidt in a recent Congressional meeting warns of the new crisis, 'we' need 100 times energy capacity, and the 'need' is increasing at an exponential rate.
Beautiful. Thank you both.
My dear Mr. Hedges, I love your show, your interviews and the fact that you yourself have experienced so much of this life. I am almost ready to abandon you because of the ceaseless advertising. You and your guests are interrupted constantly- even in the middle of a statement. So frustrating. Big sigh.
When the planet becomes a prison, a vast oppressive atmosphere that we're unable to change. Humanity becomes small again despite our so called superiority. This is evolution at work, i will be dead before the worst scenarios hits, and for that i'm glad. I suspect in our desperation we will try to trigger volcanoes to cool down the planet.
The climate is fine. It's too bad the government has been doing stratopheric aerosol injection for decades. It's too bad the government allows pesticides and GMOs. All the insects are disappearing.
Hard to believe someone as intelligent as Hedges has fallen for the climate crisis hoax, hook, line and sinker. There is no evidence whatsoever of humans being the sole cause of climate change. The climate has been changing since the planet was born. The hubris it takes to suggest we can control the earth's climate is the ultimate insult to intelligence.
You got all MY attention–compelling interview. I did not understand what kind of behaviors are characteristic of the violence of the vulnerable…. Wish I had had both (or either) of you as my literature teacher many years ago but then I would not have been hungry enough to try to understand. Thanks.
Lol too many people
Wow! Chris got animated and laughed and flashed a beautiful smile!
Our politicians and msm lie so much that nobody believes anything anymore, even the truth of climate change.
I am angry at them for lying to manufacture consent for war, but also angry that our planet is collateral damage.
I enjoyed seeing this side of Chris very much. Bought the books, excited to read them. Peace.

The well founded logic of refraining from childbearing with a given genetic inheritance of a parent may be , in 2025 to do with completely appropriate GENETIC COUNSELING and has NOTHING TO DO WITH EUGENICS. This author associates the suggestion by genetic counselors not to propagate with a movement that FORCIBLY STERILIZED unwilling adults is ludicrous. Chris should have called her on this.
Climate change is avoidable. All we need to do is increase the Earth's bioproductive consumption of Carbon Dioxide. Towards that end, an important fact is that the deep oceans covering 66% of the Earth's surface is not very bioproductive. This is because most of the ocean's surface bioproductiviy is limited by the scarcity of a few elements. Thus, if humans were smart custodians of our biosphere, we would be dramatically increasing photosynthesis on the ocean's surface with infrastructure providing the missing elements needed for plant growth there.
Governments need to encourage building floating agricultural infrastructure on the deep oceans with the specific design to greatly increase carbon dioxide metabolization into food and building materials grown on this new ocean-based infrastructure. This approach could be profitable and work within existing systems, but it needs to be recognized, subsidized and implemented to abate current CO2 surpluses.
There are only two measures of money, not enough or none at all.
The snarky part of me is amused when people obsess over things they cannot control, such as the climate. It's easy to make fun of people who have become indoctrinated with doomsday rhetoric, working themselves into hysterics. But this is completely avoidable suffering, and we should be concerned, not amused, by the suffering of our fellow humans.
You might as well fret about the sun becoming a red giant and consuming the Earth in a couple billion years. Yeah the climate is changing, but it always changes, and always has. This idea that the climate was static and perfect until humans came along is total nonsense. By pumping some "extra" CO2 into the atmosphere, about 5 percent of the overall total, we have slightly enhanced a naturally occurring trend. That's it.
Most climate change activists have a very limited knowledge of the subject they fret about, and a weak understanding of Earth history. For example, in the last 12.000 years, there have been 10 major warming trends, including the current one, and 23 Abrupt Climate Events, which abruptly lowered the global temperature. The current warming trend would have happened even if humans had not existed. Climate worriers are completely unaware of this, or in denial about it.
More importantly, the Earth has been cooling for the last 50 million years, to the point that we are now in the grip of the most intense ice age in AT LEAST 250 million years. The LAST thing we need to worry about is a little extra warmth. We probably aren't even halfway through it yet, and there are millions of years of glacial conditions to come.
By chance, we happen to be alive during a rare period of mild temperatures, an "interglacial period," but it's 12,000 years on, and starting to wind down. Officially we are in the neoglacial phase of the Holocene Interglacial period. The neoglacial is the part right before the Ice comes back.
We're two thousand years, plus or minus, away from the resumption of full-on glacial conditions. The downward slide could begin any time, without warning. The idea that a modest increase in a so-so greenhouse gas that is a minor component of the climate could derail the freight train headed our way is absurd. That's the REAL existential threat, not to the planet, which will endure, but to human civilization, which may not. If we are really, really lucky, the slight warming our species is responsible for will delay glacial onset for a precious few decades.
So enjoy this little warm spell while it lasts, because it won't. And enjoy life, because it's over before you know it.
