Blatten, is flattened, a small Alpine village in Switzerland’s with about 300 residents
A large section of the Birch Glacier broke off in one go at around 3:30pm on Wednesday. The glacier collapse caused an earthquake measuring 3.1 M. The village of Blatten in Lötschenta, Canton Valais, was 90% covered by landslide, with 1 person missing. Locals plan to rebuild.

All those homes upstream are now all under the lake forming behind the rubble pile. Now they are evacuating villages below (2), as this rubble pile will fail and flood waters will travel fast once the breach forms

It was amazing watching the mountain side a week before the slide. It was visibly separating 20+ feet.
I learned about this impending mountain and glacier collapse several days ago from On the Pulse with Silki. Her news coverage has been far superior to the drivel put out by MSM news.
So Blatten is flattened. Hahahahaha
WOW! I never thought about the small creek/river would flood the remaining village. I was thinking how happy the people would have been to see some survive but no the river! What in the world! And to worry about overflooding.! Just goes to show when the earth moves, it will have a chain reaction of change. What a mess but the people there are keeping on top of what is going on and evacuating. I think they are doing a great job!!! I've seen enough in S. America to see the difference in the governing powers for the people. Some are awesome and this one is!

It's more likely that the rock surfaces supporting the glacier failed under the increased mass than that the ice "crumbled" or anything like that.
By the way, there is at least one example of the same sort of event… two villages in South America totally buried without warning, several years ago.

That would definitely be a horrible thing to face or go through. Hope they find the elderly man, safe and sound but it doesn't look good.

In utah a neighborhood was built on unstable land that is sliding and the state will not help those people get their money back from developer, this has been going on for years, many homes are unlivable and vacant. No place is safe
So glad most evacuated, and cows were rescued.

Yes. Mary. Mountains do tend to slide over time. It's kind of like little barbelss ( in large quantities) landing on an ice cream cake. It will damage and cause a smooshing slide of the top of the cake and as it melts the cake will give away quickly!
I would never rebuild in this area.
I fully believe extra planets in our vicinity are whats causing all of this crazy weather and geological unrest. You can't tell me it's not. Too many instances happening around the globe to not be connected. If you really follow what's taking place you see patterns. It's coming to pass regardless of whatever nonsense they are feeding us and we will never be told the truth. Mary, you know it, I know it, we all know it.
