It looks more like a rock and mud slide than it does a glacier. There's hardly any snow on top of those mountains. And look at the after math.

A few mistakes, the glacier fell because millions of tons of the mountain fell on top of the glacier. The mountain is still breaking off and could cause another avalanche. There was one person un accounted for, not a few. Great footage!

Nie uważałam Szwajcarii za bezpieczny kraj ,właśnie ze względu na ukształtowanie terenu . Góry , zbocza ,doliny i rzeki ,a wysoko lodowce. W zimie lawiny śnieżne , w lecie ulewy i obsuwanie się zboczy ,a teraz nagłe zejście lodowca. Tragedia ,dla mieszkańców.
This brings us Italians back to the massive catastrophe of LONGARONE (Vajont Dam) in 1963 with 2000 victims and only 15 survivors… Had they evacuated the villages as has happened here, but they didn't …😢
