You are correct, and the lack of planning is at all levels. At our municipality our proposed budgets for our fire departments was always being cut for other departments. Maybe the province should have standards for municipalities to adhere to. Thanks

Moe did declare a state of emerg yday. I am in South Sask, several 100kms away from the fires, first sign of smoke rolled in this am. The Shoe Fire is the largest one at this time. Hoping for the safety of our north Sk residents.
The Liberals rather send the money to Ukraine….more money laundering.
Maybe if they stopped spraying chemicals accross the sky daily to fall to the earth and accelerate burning it might help.

Sounds like they had a late night last night in the liberal caucus trying to figure out a way to extinguish the fires with taxes….yup taxes. All that carbon must be taxes…..more taxes will solve it. And hurt those fires.
