Very sad, tragic event
The climate on planet Earth has been changing since the planet came into existence and was once totally uninhabitable by humans.
Wasn't there a rockfall above the glacier
So, he chose to not evacuate?
I didn't know that glaciers were on top of a mountain.
This is what happens when you build next to a mountain with a glacier as an icecap! This was gonna happen no matter what!
Warming of the climate of causing melting and or chilling of the climate with more snowfall would cause the same catastrophe eventually!
Humans have always been, and always will be, more stupid than nature….. Wait till you see what she's got in store next.
When are people finally going to learn not to yell "Yodel-ay-hee-hoo! Yodel-ay-hee-hee!" around mountains?
I`m so sick of jewish propaganda!
This should be a "happy" news report because, while one man DID unfortunately die,
all the other residents of this village were evacuated BEFORE the glacier collapsed,
and… they all lived!
Global warming blah blah
Unfortunately the global warming cult is corrupting the news again. First, a glacier in a mountain is a very slow-moving flow of ice, like nearly-solid river. In Spring and Summer chunks come off because some of the ice melts, there's nothing new or alarming about this. Apparently the real problem here is the land, not the glacier. The land was very unstable and broke loose. It was the landslide which damaged the village, not the glacier.
