What everyone seems to fail within climate change is the fact that most of why this earth changes is due to astronomical events. People are just too ignorant to do any research whatsoever.
Rock slides and avalanches happen all the time…for thousands of years. The Earth does change, and has changed for thousands of years. Too bad people use "climate change fear porn for excuses". Since there was a warning for several days, why would any resident stay? Hopefully they all left. Living in valleys surrounded by huge mountains is a big risk anywhere in the world. So finding only one death ocurred is very good news, as other rock slides or avalanches usually take more lives. But still so sorry for even one life lost. This was a good video capturing the event. Thankyou for sharing.

WOW! A series of unfortunate events:
1) we build our village in a valley with steep and high walls.
2) it snows and freezes in the winter
3) it warms and melts in the summer
4) this thing called GRAVITY! happens and pulls it all down on top of the village. sorry village people, its only a matter of time and I guess climate change(if that's what seasons are called now)
5) most unfortunate of all is she call it a rare event. What! I have been skiing in the mountains for 50 years and every season we see avalanches. EVERY YEAR!. WTF, STFU…..
stop calling things climate change, the earth will always change until the core hardens and the atmosphere evaporates into space then we will be just like Mars. Is that what these idiots want, us to be like mars, thats what happens when climate change stops.

And 30,000 years ago the earth was covered in ice and it all melted away long before the Industrial Revolution.

The science shows I have been following from the start never mentioned climate or climate change, They summed it up as mountain cracking from normal and natural Freeze Thaw Erosional Cycle. As the mountain moved and fell on the glacier it could not handle the load and cracked.
I notice all of the other ice and snow on the mountain range there not falling down.
Only this show and the man made global warming causes everything channel DW even mentioned climate with this event. The other shows by geologists, geophysicists, etc not a peep.
NYC used to be under a mile high glacier. It disappeared 18000 years ago before factories and cars.
We know about this because crazy people built a village there.
These people will blame anything on climate change. It actually shows their complete willingness to sell out to political correctness. Sad that scientists do this.
Why is no one looking at all the per-historic landslides in every single valley around Blatten. The village itself was constructed next to one that appears to be from thousands of years ago. On a geological scale, these slides are a common occurrence. Earth has been warming since the last ice age when all of these mountains were under glaciers over 1 mile thick.
It's a good thing that climate change isn't real.
This is an act of God, He determines the temperature of this marble, not man. May be past evidence in that valley could have shown you this happening.

Climate changes every time it rains. It changes again when it stops raining. Again when it snows, and then again when it melts. Sensible people do not build in tight valleys, or flood plains, or at the bottom of glaciers. People caught in their foolishness expect sympathy and government funding. Not happening.

No, rock slide on a glacier. Nothing to do with climate! Global temps have gone lower last 3 yrs. More global snow & ice pack than last 20yrs .
