It is possible now that all that ruble mixed with all that glacier ice will start to collapse as the ice melts this might cause small avalanches as the support is being lost underneath the rest of the material still on the mountain. Water will find a way to borrow through the material as the ice will help in the way as it melts and creates empty crevices underneath the ruble

Inaccurate reporting. Check facts. The mountainside crumbled and collapsed and fell on the glacier.
