Was it too much rain too fast? Or are bigger issues with infrastructure to blame? City and county leaders say it’s not clear yet whether the deadly flood can be attributed to a storm or if something manmade failed.

Poor urban planning, poor construction, ridiculous democrat "leaders"…..the recipe for disaster!
I saw that same spot like that in the late 70s. My mom lived next to the creek. That house is gone now. But I lost several tires due to man hole covers popping of at Perrin Bittal and Austin Hwy when I was a kid. This isnāt new . San Antonio has always had flash floods. It sits at the foot of the hill country. Climate change is BS.
Maybe Gina Ortiz-Jones can concentrate more on fixing our infrastructure problems and less spouting all that pride nonsense no one cares about!!
god is mad at protestors and rioters opposing Trump and his policies. He was saved by god to do good.
No matter where you live, your tax dollars are being wasted. Sucks donāt it?
And you wonāt hear trump say a word about it. MAGA wonāt care. FEMA is being defunded thanks to trump and fools keep up the support.
Man made
Because obviously, making sure women are forced into childbirth and that kids can't see a man in a dress is way more important than properly engineered infrastructure. I'm so glad I left that shi*hole!!
It obviously flooded because city leaders didn't care enough to paint š on it
The issue is that this city is a ghetto
Lol, this is why I live north of 1604 (just a couple miles outside the loop) near Bulverde, I knew that we have flash floods here and even though we have a GREAT flood mitigation system, it can get overloaded or if some parts are not maintained well, we get problems like this. Avoid buying a house in a subsidence zone, itās only a matter of time.
Yeah thats what where we need to put our money…not for the unnecessary lgbtq district…not for painting sidewalks rainbow colorsš
My deepest condolences to the families that lost loved ones in this flood. May the Lord comfort you and your families.
