  1. I saw that same spot like that in the late 70s. My mom lived next to the creek. That house is gone now. But I lost several tires due to man hole covers popping of at Perrin Bittal and Austin Hwy when I was a kid. This isn’t new . San Antonio has always had flash floods. It sits at the foot of the hill country. Climate change is BS.

  2. Because obviously, making sure women are forced into childbirth and that kids can't see a man in a dress is way more important than properly engineered infrastructure. I'm so glad I left that shi*hole!!

Lol, this is why I live north of 1604 (just a couple miles outside the loop) near Bulverde, I knew that we have flash floods here and even though we have a GREAT flood mitigation system, it can get overloaded or if some parts are not maintained well, we get problems like this. Avoid buying a house in a subsidence zone, it’s only a matter of time.
