Record floods are slamming Rongjiang in China’s Guizhou province! 🌊
The Duliu River has risen up to 11 meters above normal after days of nonstop monsoon rains, flooding homes, roads, shopping malls, and even underground garages. Over 300,000 residents have been urged to evacuate as landslides damage critical infrastructure, including a collapsed highway viaduct.
With more rain on the way, officials are on high alert. Scientists warn that climate change is driving more frequent and severe floods like this in China and around the world.
