
A webinar hosted by the University of KwaZulu-Natal to observe the United Nations’ World Cities Day has revealed the increasing health and mental health risks of global warming and climate change on the populations of fast-growing cities.
International academics and researchers also discussed solutions such as the positive impact of green spaces, and how women and youth need to be at the forefront of urban climate change initiatives.
