Trinity College is proud to present this year’s Gourlay Ethics in Business panel discussion, ‘Just Transitions: fairness in the face of change’, which centered on the situation in the Latrobe Valley, where three coal power stations have either closed, or are slated to close, and how a *just* transition is not a philosophical concept for the community – but rather a much-desired outcome of a very real challenge.
Panellists:
Visiting Gourlay professor, Professor Mette Morsing, University of Oxford
Stephen Dodd, Secretary of the Gippsland Trades and Labour Council
Chris Buckingham, CEO, La Trobe Valley Authority
Director – Climate Change and Energy at the Australian Industry Group (Ai Group)
Moderator: Ali Moore, ABC.
