
Hundreds of world leaders, including African presidents, are gathered in Baku, Azerbaijan for the COP29 summit calling for action in combating global warming and for using the Loss and Damages Fund (LDF) to assist third world countries offset economic and non- economic losses caused by climate change such as droughts and rising sea levels.
