Myanmar Earthquake: A 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck central Myanmar on Friday, causing widespread panic and building collapses in Mandalay, the country’s second-largest city. The tremors were felt as far as Bangkok, Thailand, where skytrains swayed, buildings cracked, and thousands evacuated in fear. An aftershock of 6.4 magnitude followed minutes later, raising concerns of further destruction. Myanmar, already struggling with civil war, faces a difficult rescue operation, while Thai authorities are on high alert for a possible tsunami in the Andaman Sea. Experts warn that the next few hours will be critical.

Thats highly possible..even somewhere in Myanmar.if u have notice recentlys, asian countries has been rocked by strong earthquakes,in japan,in tirkey, in china…in the philippines.and this one..and tey occur almost simultaneously..herr in america its california thay keeps on shaking…

It is not close to a large body of water. No Tsunami. Only trapped people needs help because the military government completly disregard civil infrastructure and only focus on their wellfair. Rescue is almost non existence unless a major intervention from other entities and can only trickle in due to the restrictions imposed by the government.
Now, to help Myanmar people,the US Government should return One Billion US$ that was deposited in the USA by the Late Myanmar government,Su kyi's Government before Myanmar military controlled the power.
Is tsunami going to hit there evacuate away from buildings make a plan to make camps away from buildings and water first we need to find a place to make camps it should be away from water if Tsunami coming but also it needs to be away from damaged building's because aftershocks could cause more damage even total destruction building's that are heavily damaged should be clear of people pets and brought down so people don't return into them all those building's tall could come down on search and rescue teams hindering searchers citizens unable to search should evacuate to a managed emergency camp site I so tired of all the natural disasters but I'm really sick of everyone fighting and not wanting to help save lives Bangkok and surrounding areas have ask for international aid as well as help can anyone check the ocean or seas for big Tsunami way out weather man where are you
Tsunami may not go in the direction of where the earthquake happened it could go in another direction

Watching this unfold is like a nightmare. The situation is dire, especially in Myanmar where entire communities have been isolated. We can only hope that the international aid gets to the people who need it the most.
