Bio:
Madhu Sudan Gautam is a research fellow and former founding executive director at Institute for Frontier Studies (IFS). He was the former director of National Disaster Risk Reduction Centre (NDRC) Nepal from 2013 to 2018 and represented NDRC at national and international forums. […] With over 15 years of professional experience, he has been offering technical advice to the government and donors to build the capacity of officials and elected representatives of federal, provincial, and local level governments in Nepal. He has led several donors funded technical studies, and provided inputs to government on key policy, strategy, planning, ad capacity building processes at national and sub-national levels of government. He has led, managed and provided technical support to multi-stakeholders’ projects and programs funded by government of Nepal, World Bank, ADB, UNDP, USAID, DFID and with several I/NGOs. His services supported in need assessments, project development & management, multi-stakeholder partnership, planning process, and build the capacity of the institutions in liaison with high level government and representatives of donor community.
